Fabricio Romano has confirmed Arsenal are still hopeful of bringing Manuel Locatelli to the Premier League this summer.

Arsenal have been in the news with the Italian national team midfielder in the past week. But they have to face a big bone like Juventus. The top team from Calcio Serie A who are interested in this player as well.

Reports suggest Locatelli is likely to opt for a move to the Bianconeri. But Romano has told the Don Robbie podcast that Arsenal are yet to lose hope in the deal.

“I can confirm that Arsenal want Locatelli, they consider this player a good fit for the team and the Premier League, but at the moment they have a smart strategy around Locatelli. And they’re the only ones who can do this.”

“They will have to wait to see what happens in the negotiations with Juventus. Because the player’s first choice is Juve Locatelli, wanting to move to Juventus but he hasn’t yet.
